Truly Beautiful

Breast Lift and Augmentation by Glenys

Breast Lift and Augmentation by Glenys

Name: Glenys
City: Mackay
Country: Australia
Age: 49

After having three children, all breastfed for a year, and gaining and losing large amounts of weight, my breasts were very saggy, although naturally large. I decided to feel sexy for my husband and to be able to wear nice clothes and nightwear without always having to wear a bra. The only answer was plastic surgery. I had heard a lot of good reports and researched a lot and it seemed that little could go wrong. I had surgery in March 2007 and within a week one areola had turned a very dark color. To cut a long story short, it had been deprived of blood supply for a short period of time and the areola had died off. I also got a massive infection in it and was in hospital for three weeks hooked up to a suction machine to draw out the blood supply to enhance healing. Things healed and luckily the actual nipple survived. I have had reconstructive surgery in June 2008 to do a skin graft to fashion an areola. The nipple on that side is smaller, but looks near normal. The size and shape of my new breasts I am very happy with. After 18 months they are still not sagging, which for my age and their size I was expecting some sagging. I wanted to tell my story for two reasons, to alert women to the fact that some things can go wrong and that even if they do, the outcome can still be positive, with the right surgeon.
