Kelli’s Breast Reduction

Kelli’s Breast Reduction

Name: Kelli
City: Maineville
Country: USA
Age: 20

I started puberty when I was about 14 years old. Kids from 6th and 7th grade always made fun of me and called me "flat-chest", so when my breasts started to grow, naturally I was thrilled. By the time I started high school my breasts were a C cup, almost a D. As high school went on I started experiencing rapid breast growth, they seemed to grow more every day. Again, I felt the pain of being teased by my peers, now because my breasts were abnormally large. However, I also felt physical pain. My back ached constantly, sometimes to the point of tears. I could never find clothes to fit me right and I can recall countless times crying alone in the dressing room when trying to find the perfect homecoming dress, because nothing fit or flattered my giant breasts. My mother saw the pain I was going through, both physical and emotional, and told me she wished there was something she could do. At this point I was turning seventeen. I told her I wanted a breast reduction. She seemed reluctant, she didn't fully understand just how much of a burden my large breasts were. I started to gain weight because I was embarrassed to exercise. So the next time I saw my physician for a checkup I asked her about breast reduction. She told me I should wait until my breasts stopped growing. The summer after my high school graduation, I had had enough. There was no way I was going into college with those breasts. My mom scheduled me for a consultation with a plastic surgeon and I got the whole process over with in a summer.

After coming out of my surgery my breasts were a small C, exactly what I wanted. I had more confidence, and shopping was actually fun for me. (I wanted to buy everything that fit!) Unfortunately, my breasts have continued to grow even after the surgery, and I am now a full D cup. However, I can say the quality of my life has significantly increased and I am so much happier with my physical appearance, and people treat me better now too (they see me, not just my breasts). I encourage every young girl suffering from this to consult their physician and set up a consultation with a plastic surgeon. It really is worth it!!!!Also, email me if you're having physical or emotional problems due to your large breasts, or if you have questions about my surgery. I'd be happy to be there for you, I know what its like.

GOOD LUCK, MUCH LOVE! – KELLI
