Laura’s Breast Implants and Contracture
Name: Laura City: Glasgow Country: UK Age: 23
I had breast augmentation surgery 4 and half years ago and noticed a change in my left breast a few months ago, went to see two surgeons who told me it was capsular contracture and that I would need to have my implants replaced and that there is no way to prevent it happening again and that I basically have to have surgery to have the implants replaced as there is no other proven treatment for it. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, did you have surgery to correct it and if you know if there is any way to prevent it happening again as I cannot afford to keep paying £4,000 every four years to have it corrected! – Laura
