Bruna’s Breast Reduction
Name: Bruna City: Albuquerque Country: USA Age: 44 Hola, I am Bruna and I live in New Mexico. I am now 44 years old, married 23 years and have 2 beautiful teenage boys. I also had sagging breasts which were HUGE! It is ironic since my breasts were so small early in life and only grew to a 36B until my first pregnancy at age 24. After my first son, my breasts remained very large and swollen to a size of 36D. Within 3 years, I was pregnant again and put on considerable weight with baby #2. After the birth, my breasts were a 38E! I waited years hoping that the size would decrease as I got back into decent shape and was greatly disappointed. I am not a skinny girl, but I am in decent shape and nor saggy anywhere else. My tummy bounced back fine, but my breasts were just too big. I dealt with the large size and weight for many years until I hit 40. My doctor told me that my posture was bad and blamed my large breasts. She said there were some skeletal changes in my upper spine which were responsible for my growing discomfort in my back. We talked about my options and she recommended I think about surgical reduction of my breasts. I was scared, but I did some research and thought it might be a good solution for me. First I tried dieting really hard and I lost some weight. I got down to 140 lbs, but my breasts did not shrink an inch. Actually, they looked even bigger on me now…My breasts also pointed down which I hated so much. Before my babies, they were so nice. Not too big, not too small. Just right. My husband has been great, but I know he must notice that they are always pointing at my feet…I know that I noticed ALL THE TIME. Well, I had surgery to correct the size issues and my doctor even found a way to defer some of the cost on my insurance. She was terrific and did a fantastic job at reassuring me throughout the process. I had a full reduction using several incisions in my breast. The best part was not even the decrease in size, but the lift effect that was completed. My breasts now point upwards. This is so nice to have the breasts of a young girl again. They are proportionate at 36C again and perky. I love them. I am no longer embarrassed to be seen by my husband and I actually feel younger. I have some scars on my breasts and the 2 which go between the nipple and the breast crease are the most noticeable. However, they are not bad and the overall effect of the lift and reduction makes them a small price to pay for my present happiness. I recommend this option for every woman who has problems with large breasts, physical or psychological. The solution is not perfect, but it is far better than the torture I suffered from my heavy and downward pointing breasts for years.
