Cleavage

Cleavage is also called Décolletage or Décolleté. The term describes the rounded inner aspects of both breasts which are visible when wearing a bra, bikini or low cut top. Enhanced décolleté is a fashionable look, which is highly desirable for many women to achieve.

Enhancing Cleavage

Highlighting décolletage can make a women feel sexy and attractive. Many clothing styles place emphasis on the breasts using form fitting materials and a low cut neckline. Making the most of your natural assets can take some creativity, but there are a variety of ways in which women can create beautiful décolleté with virtually any size and shaped breasts. Luckily, there are both surgical and non-surgical modalities of enhancing décolleté, so there should be options to suit the preferences of every woman.

Non-Surgically Enhancing Cleavage

In order to put a spotlight on your breasts, you must draw the eye to them by optimizing their shape and position. Push up bras and padded bras will boost breasts high on the chest wall and provide a nice rounded contour. Women with very small breasts might consider wearing breast forms or silicone pads inside their bras, to maximize this pushup effect. Make up can also be used to provide the illusion of larger, fuller breasts. A small amount of shadow placed in between the breasts and some highlight placed on the inner aspect of each breast mound will make the breasts appear to project farther off the body and will give a nice prominent look.

Surgically Enhancing Décolletage

Breast augmentation will make the bust larger and breast lift will raise and firm ptotic mammaries. Both of these cosmetic surgery techniques work well to create beautiful décolleté. Submuscular implant placement will create especially highly positioned breasts which will often demonstrate extreme roundness, even without a bra. This obviously enhanced look is very popular and is often seen on professional models and many celebrities. Other women choose a more natural look from their implants, but can still benefit from their subtly enhanced décolletage.

Cleavage Advice

Creating the perfect décolletage means different things to different women. Some women do everything to push their breasts up and out to the point of virtual exposure, while other women simply like a small section of the tops of the breast barely visible. Finding the right style for you is simply a matter of personal choice and preference. Remember that décolleté can enhance a look or cheapen it, depending on the circumstances and occasion...

Always keep in mind the nature of the occasion you are dressing for and the image you would like to present. Regardless of the amount of exposure you choose, it is good to know that there are so many effective ways of enhancing the look and feel of your breasts. To learn more information about boosting your breast profile without using surgery, talk to a custom bra maker or professional body makeup artist. To learn more about using surgery to permanently enhance your bust, consult with a qualified plastic surgeon.
