Truly Beautiful

Deflated Breasts

Deflated breasts are sometimes a real emotional concern for affected women. “Deflated” means to look hollow and extremely ptotic, as if all the interior tissue has been removed from the breast. Typically, the skin hangs and the nipples point straight down. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this breast appearance, it is a big aesthetic concern for the majority of suffering women. However, it is crucial to remember that this ptotic type of bust can also be considered a sign of great beauty and sexual maturity in some parts of the world.

What Causes Breast Deflation?

Deflated Breasts Extreme breast ptosis can come from a number of possible causes. Breastfeeding is a prime source of ptosis, especially among women who have large natural breasts or women who nursed multiple children for an extended period of time. Drastic weight loss or gain can cause severe breast sagging. This is compounded if there are both gains and losses regularly through out a woman’s life. Simple aging and activity-related events will also increase the chances of demonstrating a deflated look and feel. Once again, these normal processes are exacerbated in women with large breasts to begin with.

Emotional Concerns of Deflated Breasts

The emotional aspect of an individual might suffer terribly due to deeply held negative body image issues. Women who are particularly sensitive to self judgment might see their bodies as ugly and traitorous. How could their once beautiful breasts go so far off course? This is an agonizing ordeal for affected individuals and can create serious and lasting physical and psychological concerns which can literally ruin the quality of life. Finding happiness is rarely easy in life, but finding it inside a body which you despise is truly IMPOSSIBLE.

Advice on Deflated Breasts

If you treasure your breast ptosis as a symbol of life, love, motherhood and endurance, than God bless. You have earned your body and should be proud of it. However, if you can not stand the sight of your own breasts due to severe sagging, then you might consider getting help. Surgical intervention from a qualified and caring cosmetic surgeon can breathe new hope into your life and make sweeping changes in the shape and profile of your breasts. There is a wide range of breast lift procedures which can help to boost, tone and firm even the most flattened breasts. For additional information about whether or not mastopexy might be indicated for you and your breasts, contact a doctor to schedule an informative consultation.
