Felicia’s Implant Problem

Felicia’s Implant Problem

Name: Felicia
City: Alsip
Country: USA
Age: 57

I had breast implants in 1970. I weighted 90 lbs and was flat chested. The doctor said a 32 B was a good size for me since I didn't want them to be too large. I didn't know anything about capsular contracture and hardening of the breasts until about the last 15 years. I thought the hardening was the implants and since the surgery was so painful, I did not go back to the doctor and have lived with hard breasts all these years. They have softened since then because I've had 4 kids, but also I weigh 160. I had no feelings in my breasts until about the last 20 years. They look fine from a front view, but looking at them from the side, they look weird and the tops of my breasts are still hard, which I hate. If I could afford to, I would probably just have them removed. Thank God, my husband still loves me, hard breasts and all. - Felicia
