Teardrop Saline Implants

First Name: Stefanie
City: Miami
Country: United States
Age: 38

When I was 17 and in high school I noticed how most of the other girls around me had bigger breasts. I felt uncomfortable changing my clothes during gym hour because one day a girl asked me if I was a boy or a girl. My teen years were rough, but I made it through. When I became a fully grown woman at the dear age of 24, I was still very unhappy with my body. I felt incomplete. My body was not ugly or deformed. I was very small at the chest area. A wear 32A bra size. I heard alot of stories about breast implants. How good they were, how bad they were. So I was not yet ready to take the next step to breast augmentation.

My sister starting working for a plastic surgeon and not to long after she had the procedure done. She chose to have the implants inserted under her arm. She looked beautiful. The implants were perfect. Then my other sister did her procedure, as well, with the same surgeon. Another beautiful outcome.

When I had the money and 2 days before my 25th birthday I went under the knife. I didn’t go as big as I wanted because I was afraid that I would look funny. I was very thin, 5ft 5" & 115 lbs at the time. I chose the saline implants because of the silicone scar at the time. I also chose to have a tear drop shape because it would make the implants look natural. I chose to have the implants inserted under my areola and under the muscle. I was very happy with the outcome of my procedure. Now 13 years later and after having 2 children (both were breast fed) my implants have not changed their shape and still look and feel very natural. However I will be replacing my implants this year or next to get a bigger size. Hopefully the plastic surgeon is still around. He did a great job on me and my two sisters. We are all still very happy with our boobs. - Stefanie
