Valerie’s Breast Augmentation and Lift
First Name: Valerie City: Tampa Country: United States Age: 32 I was young and nervous. I didn't research the doctor who did my procedure. That I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Find out all you can about the surgeon who will perform your procedure. Educate yourself. I was blessed to find a very talented surgeon who did a beautiful job on my augmentation. However, I have seen some really horrible results of breast implants that created negative psychological issues in the recipients. So educate yourself to avoid a negative experience. Also, follow your doctor's post-op instructions to the letter for optimal results. I was adamant to follow my doctor’s instructions on the post care of my breasts and I am thankful for doing so. Now 14 years and 2 breastfed children later, I have a little sagging on and below my areola. I need advice on the type of procedure I should consider. I have a scar from my augmentation that is placed right under my breast where my natural fold is, so that scar is virtually undetectable. I hope that I can receive a procedure that can use the same entry point as previously used and not create a new scar that will most likely be more noticeable. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have breastfed 2 children since then and I have a little sagging at the bottom of my breast and my nipples hang off the bottom of my breast slightly. My implant is in excellent shape and does not require replacement. Reaction of Friends, Family, Co-Workers: No Reaction Type of procedure: Breast Augmentation / Under the Muscle/Submuscular Details: I had a breast augmentation in 1994. I am inquiring about what procedure is needed to fix my current condition. I believe a breast lift is necessary to correct the nipple sagging. Incisions Used:: Inframammary (Under the Breast) Details: The incision was artfully done and the scar rests in the natural fold under my breast and is virtually unnoticeable. I am very pleased with this and it was a concern for me due to my race. I know that with the amount of melatonin in my skin, the chances of scarring are seriously increased. Implant Type (check all which apply): Saline, Round, Smooth, Overfilled Implant Size & Other Details: I am not quite sure I remember the amount of cc's I received, however I do know that I was a horribly saggy B cup prior to my procedure and I am a glorious D cup now. If I am remembering correctly the implant was 300cc or 500cc. Don't quote me on that. My surgery was 14 years ago. Surgeon's Name and any relevant information: I don't remember my surgeon's name. I do remember that I got the procedure done in 1994 in Sarasota, FL. Satisfaction Rating: Thrilled. I have had my implants for 14 years with no issues or complaints.
