Lollipop Breast Lift

lollipop-breast-lift-1The lollipop breast lift technique is a compromise between the more invasive anchor incision full mastopexy and the simple periareolar incision used during Benelli lifts. The lollipop mastopexy procedure is indicated for women with specific breast ptosis criteria. Make sure to research your breast lift options carefully, since there are many methods of achieving a higher, firmer bustline. The best results will always come from matching the patient’s requirements with the procedure which meets these needs completely, without becoming more invasive than is absolutely necessary.

A lollipop lift is also commonly called a LeJour mastopexy or a vertical breast lift.

Lollipop Breast Lift Comparative Analysis

The lollipop mastopexy is an advanced form of modified lift. While it is not as invasive as a full anchor incision lift, it is far more complicated and involved than the rest of the modified breast lift techniques.

This procedure requires 2 separate incisions, placed around the areola and down the lower midline of the breast. These 2 incisions together form what appears to be a lollipop on a stick, hence the nomenclature of this surgical procedure.

The lollipop technique is used specifically for medium breasted women with moderate to severe breast sagging or large breasted women with mild to moderate ptosis.

The procedure is usually not adequate to re-sculpt large breasts with severe sagging.

The procedure is too involved to be used on women with smaller breasts or less noticeable ptosis issues.

Lollipop Breast Lift Considerations

The emotional effects of breast ptosis can be very difficult for some women to deal with. The constant reminder of age and degenerative tissue changes can dash a woman’s body image, ruin her self confidence and make her overly conscious and sensitive about her body and appearance.  These emotional concerns can make life hellish for both the woman and her partner.

The majority of all women with serious ptosis-related issues would do almost anything to refresh the appearance of their breasts, but many do not even know that realistic surgical options exist.  Those who do understand the concept of breast lift are often scared of the potential complications and scarring.

While it is crucial to understand that these risks do exist, it is also important to realize there are many methods of reducing complications drastically.

Choosing your surgeon and planning your procedure extremely carefully are the 2 best methods of ensuring an incredible surgical result.

Lollipop Breast Lift Evaluation

The lollipop candy is a sweet treat, but not nearly as sweet as the sensational results offered to many women by this life changing procedure. The increased sense of self empowerment enjoyed by women, who can overcome ptosis issues, is tremendous and really helps to revitalize the spirit. There is no reason to simply accept bodily changes that are disturbing to you, when there are options to create the body you once had or always desired.

Cosmetic surgeons perform surgery on the body, but their biggest positive influence is on the mental and emotional components of the self.

If you have suffered with sagging breasts and nipples for long enough, talk to a qualified plastic surgeon to learn more about the methods which can give your breasts a proverbial bath in the fountain of youth.
